First: tag2find is a very good tool. I love it. Please keep it alive.
Bug / Problem report:
Situation:
1. I use a TrueCrypt drive (letter O:) to store a lot of different files. Additional files are stored on standard drive D:
- TrueCrypt Version V7.0a
- WINDOWS XP Prof SP3
What happened:
2. I did a initial tagging session on drive D: and drive O:. As result a set tag '#dokoment' (without ' signs) for all files *.pdf *.doc *.tex
3. I closed the new tag editor.
4. I opened the new tag editor again and searched for the tag '#dokoment'. Result: all files on both drives D: an O: had been displayed -> OK!
5. I closed the new tag editor.
6. I dismounted TrueCrypt drive O:
7. I opened new tag editor again and searched for the tag '#dokoment'. Result: the files on drive O: did not appear, drive D: files had been displayed -> OK so far!
8. I closed the new tag editor.
9. I mounted TrueCrypt drive O:
10. I opened new tag editor again and searched for the tag '#dokoment'. Result: the files on drive O: did still not appear, drive D: files had been displayed -> ERROR! All files on drives D: and O: should be displayed, because O: is now available!
Work around:
When restarting the tag2find service manually after step 9 (mounting O:) all tagged files in O: an D: are displayed. -> Ok
