I'd be nice to have a full text search function included in the tag browser.

Use case: Initially, I narrow down the selection of PDF documents by tags.
But then I need to find a special term insides one of these documents. For this, I need a full text search.

regards,
Japhy

Very great idea. We are already testing integration of external search engines and evaluating the possibility to add our own full-text index. Unfortunately, we are little short of developers here... Cool

Sorry one additional thought on this, is there any way to link this full text in to a Google Desktop index, it would save you time in developing your own....

Hi lyle,

Google provides an API for searching, we already developed a small solution to integrate it into tag2find, but it is too slow at the moment. Google is "cheating" when returning results, they return the first results very fast, but if you need (like us) the whole result set to check which files are tagged, they suddenly become a little bit slow... Cool

But we will keep working on this!

Best regards,
martin
