The toolbar in Vista looks funky. Also, clicking the little green section on the left opens up a new instance of the tag2find browser each time. Not really the desired behavior. As you can see I clicked it about 10 times, now I have 10 browsers open.

That's strange. I'm working on Vista here too but the toolbar looks like it should. Could you unlock the taskbar (Context Menu -> uncheck "Lock the taskbar") and resize the toolbar to a more appropriate size? Maybe this will fix the issue?
Clicking the "green arrow" has the same functionality like pressing "Enter" in the text field. It will launch a Tag Browser with the result of the current entered search.
Best regards, Martin

Unlocking the taskbar did help get the proper look after sliding the divider more to the left. However the layout isn't quite as robust, as say, the Windows Address toolbar, you can notice as you slide the divider back and forth left to right. I'll post a screenshot.

On this screenshot you'll see that the left side "Tag" image is missing, and the top of the toolbar is kind of chopped, compared to the Address bar to it's right, which is fine.

The "Tag" image comes back (sometimes) when I expand the Taskbar upwards.
Also note the extra space between the green arrow and the divider of Windows Address Bar to the right. Currently there's no way to close that gap.
By the way, the pop up "Results Preview/All Tags" window, I can get rid of it by hitting the escape key, but cannot figure out how to get rid of it with a mouse action. Clicking away from it just puts another window's focus above it. Perhaps a little X on the top right corner will be nice.

Hi,
thanks for the very valuable feedback. As soon as the focus is lost, it should be automatically hidden.
I will look into this issue and try to reproduce it and hope to get a fix for this issue into the 0.10 release which is in the final stage of development.
Best regards, Martin

An additional question: could you tell me which version of Vista you are using (Home, Business, Ultimate?) and (maybe even more important), which screen-resolution and DPI?

Ok, it does disappear when clicking on something other than the tag2find toolbar. I swore I had still found it behind a newly focused window, but maybe it's because clicking anywhere on the toolbar will bring it up. Including that 1 inch of space to the right of the green arrow, which is client area that belongs to the tag2find toolbar rather than to the windows taskbar.

Thanks for the information. I'm still having troubles reproducing it, but I will not give up. ;-) I love Windows for all those different configurations out there... It makes debugging so much fun Best regards, Martin
