Problem: Fileservice doubles my tagged files due to DataSync

Hi all,

I have a prob with the current Tag2Find-software.
Every morning and every evening I am synchronizing my local files to a TrueCryptVolume on a external USB-harddisk (portability + backup reasons).

Now I found out lately that T2F suddenly had all my files two times inside its database (first the local version, second the version it found on my external USBHDD). I figured out that the reason my lay in the t2f-tracking service who monitors the copying-process and writes another version of the file in its database.
This is a real problem as I always have to check inside the T2F File Monitor to open the correct local file instead of the remote one.

Is there any possibility/trick/workaround to prevent T2F(-tracking service) from monitoring those remote files / the
remote harddisk, whatever...?

Hi, at the moment all NTFS volumes are monitored and all tagged files are shown. What you report is actually really a problem which for now can only be solved by detaching the USB drive after the backup.

Thank you, yes, this workaround came to my mind...but meanwhile the problem even has risen.
I am doing a backup of my files every second or third day on a SATA-mirror inside my PC resulting in the effect that I now have 3 versions of one file in my database... DataHDD, MirrorHDD, USBHDD... this make the application quite unusable
