Hi there,

I can't make the service start for some reason. Here's what I get:

Starting the tag2find service failed:
Invalid ConnectionString format for parameter "Data Source"

I have Comodo firewall and Norton Antivirus (and Win XP). Specified tag2find as safe, but that didn't change anything.
That's too bad, I was really happy to find your program. Just wished it worked...
Any idea what's wrong?
cheers.

Hi,

it sounds like something about your setup is special. Can you tell me which language your windows is in and whats the exact path to the "all users" folder?

Best regards,
Martin

Thanks for your reply.
It could be the path indeed as my configuration is a bit special: all my system is on my D: drive (Windows, Documents and Settings...). But never had any problem before to install and run other software. Do you think I can still use Tag2Find? (I'm not ready to re-format and re-install Windows and my 100s of other programs)
and fyi, my Windows is English.
thx

Hi,

no, drive D should be no problem. The connection string error indicates that for some reason the SQLite databases could not be created. As we are not directly building ConnectionStrings but using the API of the underlaying library, I have to investigate. I will write back as soon as I find out something.

Best regards,
Martin
