read/write tags into file properties?

Is there any way to have tag2find store the tags in the files themselves, so that if the file is transferred from one computer to another, its tags carry with it?

This would be hugely powerful for people using Microsoft Groove to automatically share files across computers.

we think about adding such a feature for file-types supporting metadata.
