I have a new computer, and used an external drive to move files over.  In the move it told me that extra information associated with the files by tag2find was corrupt or something like that, and that it was being deleted from the headers (?) ...I installed tag2find on the new computer and sure enough, there are no files showing as tagged.

Is there any way to get my tags back?

Thanks...

Hi,

you appearantly used a FAT32-drive for moving the files, so in short, the tags cannot be copied over to the disk and from there to the new computer. What you can do, however, if you still have access to the old computer, is to export all tags and then re-import those tags, given that the files were copied to the same location.

Best regards,
Martin
