Tag using Keyboard Shortcut

I don't know if this is possible but I think it would be great it we could assign a certain tag to a file or a selected group of file using a keyboard shortcut.

E.g. You often find yourselve tagging files with the keyword "Work" so you assign "Work" to Ctrl-W and when you select a file you want tagged this way you just press Ctrl-W and tag2find adds that keyword to the file.
