    Hi !
First of all I would like to thank you for such great tool - I've been looking for software like that for quite some time now - it does almost everything that I could expect from such application (well probably with few small exceptions  Wink) but could you please help me to find out if it is possible to resolve following few issues with current version or probably something like that would be in upcoming version ?

1. Is it possible to add (or if not - then rename somehow) tag2find categories (defined in tag2find options - Categories) like Archive,Document,Image e.t.c. I would like to sort my files based on different criteria....

2. Would it be possible to have a number of tag2find databases ? For example to split by project or domain ?
(I am trying to tag large archive disk ~500 Gb of data - and splitting into sub volumes might be a good idea)

3. Any plans to add support for archived CD's, DVD's and external disks ? It would be extremely useful to be able to find file from one of archive disks - so that system would just state that Disk with label "#1" have to be inserted to access file that was found listed on database...

Hi,

As far as I have the code in my head, in the released version this is hardcoced. We hope to implement the features you mention in the future.

Regarding multiple databases. This is not possible at the moment due to the file-tracking algorithm used. You can, however, work around the issue by using a distinct tag to distinguish between different "topics" or "domains", you'll just have to add the tag to every search. It could be a good idea to provide a means to automatically add a given tag to every search.

Best regards,
Martin
