Grouping tags?

Is there any possibility to group tags? A group in my sense would be a set of tags with a semantic connection.
A good solution to that would be to have something like hierarchical namespaces.
I mainly use tagging for labeling scientific documents content-related. So it would be nice to first be able to select a namespace related to a specific scientific field and than do the usual searching with tags.

Hi,
thank you for your suggestion. We are currently evaluating ideas on this. We are likely to add a feature like this in the future.
Best regards,
Martin
