Like many others, I am disappointed with Vista's half-hearted support for tags, which are only allowed for certain file types. I think tag2find would be an excellent alternative general purpose tag engine for Vista, since the new Explorer already contains an extensible mechanism to add views.

I can imagine some plugins based on the new search api's that allow me to have define smart search folders based on tags, and also create stacks and groups based on tags. I think this would be an excellent feature if possible. At the same time, tag2find itself would be used as a tag management app, but having it hook into the OS would make tags globally accessible.

Hi,

better integration with Vista is definitely something we want to achieve. Any ideas are welcome.

Best regards,
Martin
