Hi there,

tag2find is a unbelievable nice and useful product. I'am looking forward for the next versions to get my system ordered.

Recently i came across a weired behaviour: I have a list of already tagged files. If i try to add new files for tagging tag2find doesn't take over the new tags. Is there any limit for using tags? This is the second time i came across this problem. The first time i tried to reset the database like described in the forum.

If i right click the files and check the availability in the tag2find db it doesn't show any error. It is already in the db. After this step it shows me tags for the checked file in the list view of the "edit tag" window. But they don't appear in the tag-cloud panel. Also if i drag files to the tag2find window it doesn't take over the tags of a already tagged file if the tags are new.

Any Suggestion? This behaviour prevents me from working with tag2find anymore. It's disturbing.

best regards and sry for my english. It's not native for me Smiley

PS: I'am using windows xp pro. If you need more info i am glad to give you.

Hi,

we are currently investigating the communication problem between the service and the frontend. Up to now we do not really know what exactly triggers this. As you found out, a temporary workaround is to restart the tag2find service. We are working hard on this and we are very sorry for the inconvenience.

We wil keep you informed in regard to this issue.

Best regards,
Martin
