Connected children tags

Hi!

Seems promising!

I suggest a "children tag" feature. When I for example assign a tag, for example "physics course 2" I want the a couple of other tags to be signed automatically. Like the tags "School" and "School Courses". This could be a part of "hierarchy of tags" system.

And is there really no autohide for the search box?

thanks for the suggestion. The idea of connected tags seams reasonable and we are discussion of how we can add this to the user interface.

At the moment, there is no auto-hide for the Floating TagTextBox, but you can assign a hotkey for toggling its visibility (see this forum article) (http://forum.tag2find.com/fpost906.html)). How would you like the auto-hide to work? Automatically make the Floating TagTextBox invisible after a specified amount of time when its not active?

Back from vacation...

I like the search box to appear when I press a hot-key and disappear after a I written something and pressed enter. A empty search box floating around is just taking space.

Of course having lot of different options is always liked by tech savvy people.

hope you had a nice vacation...

At the moment you can set hotkeys for the search box as well as for the tagbrowser in the opitons menu (select 'advanced' tab).
Then you can use the hotkey to open and close the floating search box (see http://forum.tag2find.com/ftopic563.html (http://forum.tag2find.com/ftopic563.html))
