Very cool app (I've been waiting years for something like this to help me categorize the gigs of research I have on my DT). Here are several suggestions that would be very valuable: Ability to tag bookmarks similar to what you can do in FF with the Bookmark Tags add-on (highly recommend you check it out and see what it does). If you could tag a bookmark and have it available in both FF and the search box that'd be great. Drag & Drop & Tag & File pre-set shortcuts - It would be very cool if I could create a shortcut in the Browser window assign it pre-set tags, and a target move to directory. Anytime I drop a file onto the shortcut, the file would automatically have the tags defined and move the file to the target directory. I know you can get close to part 1 with the existing version, and there are apps out there that can do part 2, but not both together. Auto ignore list - By default tag2find should automatically exclude any tmp directory, or hidden system directories without user intervention. I made the mistake of saying auto-tag my documents directory without noticing that it was set to the root level, and not My Docs, I ended up with a lot of wacky tags. Sync databases - It would be great if I could sync my databases between systems. I frequently copy over entire directories between my notebook and desktop PCs (Using MS's handy SyncToy) and it would be great if I could sync the DBs of tag2find so I don't have to re-tag the same file on each system. That's it for me. Of course working with popular apps like Outlook, OneNote, or EverNote to sync tagging across all of them would be incredibly valuable.
At least in Vista (and would be great in XP), it would be great if you could save a tag to a smart search folder (shortcut if need be) and anytime you open that folder, all of the files are shown with that tag. Similar to navigating the cloud, but with an easy folder metaphore.
