I am sure I don't have the verbiage for the popup correct, but the little icon in the right hand corner of your screen pops up with a message "service scanning filesystem".  Most of the time this doesn't really affect anything, its just kind of an annoyance.  However, I have a game from MSN games "Big Kahuna Reef 2: Chain Reactions" that I believe runs under DOS or something, (it requires full screen and uses a different screen resolution that other programs).  Regardless, EVERY time that message pops up that game loses focus and I'm back to the screen showing all my other programs.  It does not recover and I have to click a couple of things to get back into my game.  Very annoying.  Is there

1) any way to remove the message altogether - I don't honestly care when it is scanning for files, I assume it would be doing that regardless

or

2) make this process run more in the background so it doesn't take over.

I like your program so far, I can't wait to see how the new features work out - I especially look forward to see how you handle transferring to a new computer - can you keep your existing tags, and how it handles moving files around on the computer.

Thanks for this program!

Hi,

Thank you for reporting the focus problem. This will be fixed in 0.8.2, the popup will be displayed without taking focus. To justify the popup, it was introduced as some users believed the system got stuck directly after installation, when the service is first scanning the file system.

You can disable this whole popup if you want by deselecting "Options" -> "Advanced" -> "Notify on busy service".

The least thing we want to do, is to annoy our users! Smiley

Best regards,
Martin
