Incompatibility with Windows Desktop Search

I am using Windows Desktop Search, version 02.06.5000.5378, and when I right-click on a file and click on "Tag this..." nothing happens. Compatibility with popular desktop search programs may be very useful, as this is what I, and many other users, will use to find files we have duplicates of and tag one copy so that we may delete the others.

Hi,
Do you mean, if you right-click in the search result? Does it work if you do it in explorer? Anyways, thanks for the hint, I was not aware that Desktop Search might handle the context menu differently from Explorer, so I have to check this again.
Thanks,
Martin

Yes, I meant if you right-click in the search result window. It works perfectly though if I do it in Explorer. The context menu is a little different in the search window than in Explorer though, as I also have an "Open Containing Folder" option, which I used to tag the folder in Explorer, but it would still be nice if I could do it right from the search window. Overall really cool product though. I've been raving for so long about how this kind of behavior should be built into operating systems. Keep up the good work! :-)

Hi,
I tested it with the Windows Desktop Search V02.06.6000.5414 and it worked fine. We will try to get hold of your version and see if we can resolve the issue.
thanks,
marc
